On Monday, during Physics Home Learning period, please:

1. Read through the notes on Resolution of Vectors that I have printed and given to you before the break. If you so happen not to have the notes, please go to my IVLE Record Book (Term 3 Wk 1) and then read through the VLE resources on the topic through the URL that I have provided.

2. Go to the wikispaces that I have created for your discussion. You can send me messages to ask questions or to let me know if you have understood the notes given. Everyone must go into the wikispaces discussion. It is very important because I need to track your activities and responses during the Physics Home Learning period. I have provided the URL to the wikispaces on IVLE Record Book (Term 3 Wk1) or you can also access it here.

3. Upload your answers to the Revision_3_Kinematics holiday homework that I have given to you to be done over the break to my IVLE Workbin under Student Submission. Again, it is very important because I need to track your activities and responses during the Physics Home Learning period.

Note:
The wikispaces has no content. It has been created solely for your discussions only during this home learning period to ease the net traffic. Maybe in future, I will work on it. You will have to join the wikispaces.

I notice that several students have not yet read my last emb to you a few days ago.

General Instructions
During this week of IT Home Learning, we will be using our wikispaces home for ALL ENGLISH LESSONS.

Content – to be found in the specific wiki pages created by you
Assignment – to be found in the Discussion Forum attached to the ‘Education Module’ page

Pls click on the ‘Education Module’ page (found on the right hand menu bar)

ALL detailed INSTRUCTIONS and WORK can then be found in the ‘DISCUSSION’ section of this page (refer to the top menu bar of this page).

They are arranged in order:

- Tue 30 June
- Wed 1 July
- Thu 2 July
- Fri 3 July

Click on the specific day’s posting to view instructions and reply to that post in order to participate in the discussion.

Specific Instructions
We will accomplish the following objectives per our given timetable:

Tue 30 June (0930 – 1030 hrs)
- complete the wikis (i.e. all content must be put up by then)
- CONFIRM completion by replying to my post in the discussion forum (dated Tue 30 June)

Wed 1 July (1100 – 1200 hrs)
- participate in Forum Discussion for that day
- EVERYONE must post at least one entry of value which shows that he has read the wikis’ content, thought about the issue and has a relevant opinion to share with everyone.

The following is the scope for the topic:
1. Understand the properties of probability
2. Calculate the probability of a single event
3. Calculate combined events probabilities with the help of
probability diagrams and probability trees
4. Distinguish between independent and mutually exclusive events
5. Understand probability trees and use them to illustrate
probability problems.
6. Problems involving set symbols.
7. Relate probability to binomial theorem.

The test will be conducted in Term 2 week 1, one of the single
period. Durstion is 30 minutes, maximum CP is 4.

1. Food Donation Drive. This one is actually the slackest but nids the most planning and stuff. Your know on emb always see those people asking for donations and stuff. yup this is abt it. For the dates, the food donation drive dont realli got a specific date, more of like a ‘if u feel like doing, then jus do’ kind of thing..

2. DSA charity bowl. Not too sure abt this but according to the person, we dont actually get to bowl with the DS people…we r jus gonna plan the administrative stuff, registration, preparing of prizes, giving out the prizes and stuff…so….yea tats about it. Oh and its on the 23 of May.

3.Charity movie premiere, Harry Potter movie. Once again we dont get to watch the movie -.- we jus gotta plan the administrative stuff…..its on the 17th of July.

4. Lastly there are these events, including national day celebration, hari raya celebration… but i dont tink u guys wanna do these…cos nid to plan and organise the whole event and nid to prepare everything as well as host the event…rather tough….

so imo, the 1st choice is the easiest and most flexible one…so…dunnoe la see wad ur want..
